AGEING ROOM

 

At the same level and connected with a door, is the room  aging. This room has the peculiarity, that their soil is the authentic original fourteenth century, made of clay tiles. The room is buried under soil on three sides and the fourth is made of a stone wall 90 cm. ,which gives perfect control of constant temperature and humidity for aging, isolated from external temperature changes. The Hall, currently consists of 50 French oak barrels, 15 of which are new to the wine cellar star: GUETA LUPIA and 35 oaks of the second year for the second wine FRA FORT.
In this room also is the aging bottle room, where wines rest and age at least 8 months before release. These bootles are placed in stainless steel horizontal position so that the cork is always in contact with the wine.
